Flying High
Ain't that the TRUTH! But jokes aside this is a real problem in this day in age, probably the biggest for trades as a whole. Yes, it's a big part of the skilled trade shortage but I hate when people pawn that off as their answer. Do they make them the same as they used to? Absolutely not. When you get a phone that puts you in a mindless blackhole for hours on end before you can even drive a car, it's going to be harder to appreciate the skill of hard work. But that's the hand we are dealt. I say let's take a more meaningful approach, let's train these guys. Let's spend more time showing them the right way. Give them insight into what they can make. Hell, just give them a dose of reality that the world isn't rainbows and butterflies like that influencer tells them. And in the case of the pic above, let's break that scooter in half and carry their asses to the gym with us.
