Mission

South Coast Welding Academy is an industrial trade school offering various welding technology programs that are designed to provide comprehensive hands on training to prepare students for immediate employment in the industry. In the last couple of years, companies throughout the United States have been feeling the effect of shortage for qualified welders. Currently there is a demand for skilled welders in many industries such as construction, ship-building, petrochemical, fabrication shops, pipeline and many more. Here at South Coast Welding Academy, we want to help out the workforce by training new individuals to become proficient welders. It is our goal to provide you with an effective and faster way to learn the welding trade. We serve entry level students as well as those who have prior welding experience and wish to learn a new process for further advancement. SCWA is conveniently located in Houston, TX near the ship-channel and various petrochemical complexes in dire need of welders.
