College is Overrate
It's a question easy to answer but many don't understand- Why the hell would someone want to work in the trenches?
We all know the headline, "Massive Shortage of Skilled Trades" ... well that's true but I want to stick some lagniappe on that.
1. Make a damn good living. Notice I didn't say easy, but a surefire way to put food on the table and not worry about holding your hands out.
Oh yea and would you rather be 90k in debt or have 200k in your pocket? Real study here boys, so take your pick.
2. Less Stress, More Purpose. (The kind that doesn't come from a keyboard).
3. And now my take ... technology. It is going to replace every cube monkey in America. Every one that is justified by going to college, yea they’ll be on the “firing line” before you know it…at Amazon. Shipping out packages of Rep Your Trade to the real working hands out there. Come on.
So yea, the next time someone gives you that *shit eating facial expression* when you say you're a working hand, hit them with the ol Ron Swanson…
