Paying off the grind
Man is that one spot on. Listen there are a lot of professions out there, but there is something about working with your hands and constructing that creates a euphoric patch of real estate in your brain. Yea most of the time it sucks to get there. Days are long and the conditions can be gripping. But there is an unconscious payoff that doesn't show up on your check. The cube monkeys will never get that from the TPS reports, but they'll get a taste when they finally bash that copy machine they have been dreaming of. Be proud of what you do and keep on digging...
